What is a Sliding Sash Window?
Sliding Sash Windows are a beautiful addition to your property. Traditional with modern technology, this window looks and feels like elegance.
The ventilation in our sash windows is facilitated by the ability of both the top and bottom sashes to slide up and down. Additionally, these windows are equipped with a convenient tilt feature that allows you to easily clean the external side of the windows from inside your home. However, it is important to note that for windows with a woodgrain finish on the outside and a smooth finish on the inside, the top sash tilt facility is not available.
The frames and sashes of our sash windows are designed with multiple chambers, utilizing the insulating properties of air to prevent heat loss. Our sash windows are equipped with a 24mm insulated double-glazed glass unit that includes an argon gas insert, which effectively reduces heat transfer between the panes. This is due to the fact that the gas is six times denser than air. Additionally, all our units feature a warm edge spacer bar made from extruded PVC material, specifically engineered to minimize heat transfer between the glass panes, thus retaining more heat within the property. These thermal efficient components work in harmony to achieve an impressive energy rating of 'A' and a u-value of 1.4W/m2K as standard for our sash windows.
These Sliding Sash Windows undergo annual testing to ensure compliance with the PAS 24:2016 security standard and BS 6375 for weather performance. The manufacturing processes are externally verified by ER Certification to guarantee that the fabricator meets all required testing and manufacturing criteria for product standards and certification schemes.
Upgrade the security of your sliding sash windows with the comprehensive PAS 24:2016 security package, which includes two premium locks and top sash security blocks. It is important to note that a PAS 24 upgrade is typically required for new-build projects and must be specifically requested as part of the window specification.
Weare confident with our products so you will receive a full 10 Year Guarantee which includes any colour fading, faults with hardware and warping. You can be rest assured that you are having some of the best products on the market installed in your property.

Trickle Vents - What are they?
Changes to Part F of Building Regulations which came into effect on 15th June 2022 set the new standards for ventilation of new & existing building. It has been updated to ensure that sufficient levels of ventilation are still provided after replacement and new build windows are installed. Therefore a new range of compliant trickle vents were introduced to ensure your windows meet the new regulations. In short a minimum EA (Equivalent Area) must be achieved within habitable rooms.
Trickle vents are small openings installed either at the top of the window frame (slot vents) or in the glazed area just below the top of the frame (glazed-in vents). These vents can be easily opened and closed, enabling you to regulate the amount of fresh air entering your home for background ventilation.
Trickle vents offer a controlled amount of fresh air, which is especially beneficial during winter. They help to reduce condensation on windows and provide secure ventilation even when you are away from home.
